We follow Islington's term dates. These are available on the Council website. We also choose five days as 'inset days'. These are for whole-staff training. On inset days, school is open to staff, but not children. 

Our term dates for 2024-25 are:

Autumn Term (75 days)

Inset days (school is closed): Monday 2 September, Tuesday 3 September, Wednesday 4 September, Friday 20 December

Term starts for Year 1-6: Thursday 5 September 2024

Term starts for Nursery and Reception children: Tuesday 10 September (staggered starts for new children 11-13 Sept)

Half term (school is closed): Monday 28 October – Friday 1 November

Last day of term (finish at 2pm): Thursday 19 December 2024 (Friday is inset day)

Christmas holiday (school is closed): Monday 23 December 2024 – Friday 3 January 2025

Spring Term (60 days)

Inset days (school is closed):  Monday 6 January 

Term starts for Reception to Year 6: Tuesday 7 January 2025 (Monday is inset day)

Term starts for Nursery children: Thursday 9 January (staggered starts for new nursery children 10-13 Jan tbc)

Half term (school is closed): Monday 17 February – Friday 21 February 

Last day of term (finish at 2pm): Friday 4 April 2025

Easter holiday (school is closed): Monday 7 April 2025 – Monday 21 April 2025

School Hours

The school day starts at 8:55am. Our school gates open at 8:45am and we do a "soft start" arrival, giving the children time to get to class and settle in. 

The school day ends at 3:30pm. The school gates are open from 3:20pm.
