Nursery Applications
All 3 and 4 year olds are eligible for 15 hours of nursery or childcare, and some working families are eligible for 30 hours. We offer both 15 and 30 hours places to children in the term after their third birthday.
15 hours nursery
All 3 and 4 year olds are eligible for 15 hours of nursery. We offer 15 hours, spread across morning or afternoon sessions, according to the following times:
Morning sessions: Start at 8:45 End at 11:45
Afternoon sessions: Start at 12:45 End at 3:45
These times are slightly outside the normal school day to allow parents with children in other classes the flexibility to drop off and collect all their children easily.
30 hours nursery
To see if you are eligible for 30 hours of nursery, you can check your eligibility online. If eligible, you will be issued with an ‘eligibility code’ which you will need to bring into school to confirm your application.
Alternatively, parents can pay to top up their hours from 15 to 30 should they require it. Additional top up hours operate according to the morning and afternoon times given above, and follow the Islington charging schedule. From September 2025, the rates are as follows:
