On Thursday 6th June, children from Drayton Park visited St. Pancras station and met the queen. We had been asked to attend the event because we won a prestigious art competition, called 'Terrace Wires' and our sculpture will be displayed at St. Pancras.
The queen was visiting the station to unveil a plaque commemorating 20 years of the channel tunnel. We were the only state primary school there and were delighted to have the opportunity. Our children behaved brilliantly and thoroughly enjoyed the occasion.
