Lateral Flow Test Kits for Families
We are a pilot school for a scheme run by the Department of Health and Social Care to distribute Lateral Flow Test kits directly from school to our families. These are not intended for primary aged pupils in particular. They are for everyone in our children's households to use. If everyone in our community self-tests twice a week, on a Wednesday and Sunday, we will have a very good safeguard in place against any spread of coronavirus in school. We will be able to keep our community safer. We will hugely reduce the likelihood of any future disruption to pupils' learning.
For more information, please see:
As part of the pilot project, we are required to keep information on the people we distribute tests to. We may also be asked to share some of this information with the DHSC, to assist them in evaluating the project and deciding if and how to roll it out on a larger scale.
To understand what information we will keep, how we will use it and your rights regarding the information, please see the following Privacy Notice:
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is interested in talking to you about the distribution of Lateral Flow Tests to families from school. They would like to speak to a range of parents. Calls will last about 30 minutes each. If you are willing to talk to the DHSC about the pilot, please sign up through this survey:
