We believe it important that our pupils engage with real-life news and events from across the world. We want them to be informed,  engaged citizens. Current affairs can bring new layers of relevance to the topics we study.

 

In assemblies and class we regularly explore news stories from across the world, that are often linked to the topics pupils are studying. We use a range of resources to support us, including The Day Explorer, First News and Newsround,  ensuring stories are presented and explored in an age-appropriate way.
