Sex and Relationships Education (SRE) involves learning about the emotional, social and physical aspects of growing up, relationships, sex, human sexuality and sexual health.
The aim of SRE is to equip children and young people with the information, skills and values to have safe, fulfilling and enjoyable relationships, and to take responsibility for their sexual health and wellbeing.
We believe SRE is very important. We teach it for a week every year, in the Summer term, to Years 2, 4 and 6.
To find out more, please see our SRE policy below, as a well as a sample of the resource pack we use from Islington. If you have particular questions or concerns around SRE, please speak to our PSHE leader.
