Our Parent Survey for this year should have gone out to you in book bags today. You can also find copies on our website, by clicking here.
The Governors and staff at Drayton Park have very high ambitions for Drayton Park School. We believe we have made enormous progress since Ofsted inspected us in March 2014. This has included relentless attention to improving teaching and learning, with extra staff to allow phase leaders to concentrate on supporting learning in their phases; rigorous emphasis on the Drayton Park Way to embed appropriate behaviours; a new topic based curriculum, with a more systematic approach to homework; our nationally recognised approach to School Council; our Philosophy for Children initiative; and of course a new playground with stimulating new play equipment.
However, your opinions count as much as ours, which is why we run our annual parents’ survey. We want to gather your ideas about what is good at Drayton Park and what still needs to improve. The more people who fill it in, the more useful and representative the survey will be. So please do return the survey by the deadline of 13th May.
You should have received two copies of the survey in your child’s book bag. The intention is to provide one survey per parent. You do not need to complete a survey for each of your children. Each parent or carer should complete one survey.
If you lose or do not receive copies of the survey, they are available from the school office. They can also be downloaded from our website, by clicking here.
Please do not put your name on the survey. They are intended to be anonymous. They survey’s will be analysed by an independent researcher we employ each year.
When you have completed the survey, please place it in the ‘Parent Survey’ box, by the school office. The deadline for returning the survey is 13th May. If you need assistance completing the survey, please ask at the school office.
